1. Electronic Contract & Agreement Acceptance

2. Platform Identity & Country of Origin (E-Commerce Rules 2020)

PinCode Pantry is an online Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) regional food and tea storefront operating within the Republic of India.

• Country of Origin: Goods offered on PinCode Pantry are grown, processed, packaged, and shipped within India.
• Regional Food Sourcing: Products offered on PinCode Pantry are sourced in collaboration with regional producers, grower collectives, and artisan makers across Indian states.
• No Dark Patterns: In compliance with CCPA Guidelines, PinCode Pantry prohibits deceptive user design, basket sneaking, false urgency, or subscription traps.

3. Product Declarations & Legal Metrology Compliance

All packaged commodities listed on our storefront strictly comply with the Legal Metrology (Packaged Commodities) Rules, 2011 (as amended for e-commerce platforms):

• Maximum Retail Price (MRP): All product prices displayed are in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of all statutory taxes (GST).
• Net Quantity & Shelf Life: Net contents, best before dates, and storage instructions are clearly declared on every package label.
• Manufacturer & Packer Disclosures: Details of origin producers and packaging facilities are furnished on product detail pages and product labels.

4. Food Safety & Standards (FSSAI Act 2006)

As an e-commerce food business operator (FBO), PinCode Pantry adheres strictly to the regulations prescribed under the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006:

• Hygienic Transit & Storage: Food items are packed in food-grade, aroma-lock, moisture-resistant packaging to prevent contamination.
• Non-Perishable Returns Restrictions: Opened, unsealed, or consumed food packages cannot be returned due to food safety and health regulations.
• Quality Claims: Products are non-adulterated and traditional in preparation, free from artificial additives unless explicitly stated.

5. Pricing, Taxes & Secure Digital Payments

• Payment Modes: We accept UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM), Credit Cards, Debit Cards, Net Banking, and Cash on Delivery (COD) as authorized under RBI Payment Guidelines.
• Order Confirmation: An order is deemed accepted once an automated email/SMS receipt with order ID is issued to the customer.
• Price Modifications: Prices may be updated periodically without prior notice, but price changes will not affect orders already confirmed.

6. Intellectual Property & User Obligations

All brand assets, including the "PinCode Pantry" name, wordmarks, secondary circular stamp logo, standalone journey pin icon, website software code, original food photography, and regional food stories are the exclusive intellectual property of PinCode Pantry. Unauthorized copying or redistribution is strictly prohibited under Indian Copyright & Trademark law.

8. Governing Law & Exclusive Jurisdiction

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India. Any dispute, claim, or legal proceedings arising out of or in connection with the website shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent Courts at Guwahati, Assam, India.
